Gold Purchase Decline www.news.mn
The Mongolian Central Bank bought a total of 9.6 tons of gold from legal entities and individuals in first eight months of 2019; this represents a decrease of 2.5 tons or 21 percent on the previous reporting period.
The Bank of Mongolia purchased a total of 2.1 tons of gold in August; 181.3 kg in the Darkhan sector of the bank and 53.7 kg in the Bayankhongor sector. However, it has decreased by 745.7 kg from August, 2019.
The Bank offered an average of MNT 128,129.80 for kg of gold in August.
