S.Korean companies interested in cooperating on Aero-Express project www.en.montsame.mn
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Mr E.Bat-Uul received Thursday the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Mr Oh Song, to discuss the investment required in the IV Thermal Power Plant and the urban railroad development.
The Ambassador asked at first about the progress of Khuliin River station – The V Thermal Power Plant project, in which the S.Korean government offered support.
In response, Mr E.Bat-Uul informed that the project design of irrigation, pump and drainage systems has been completed, and the constructions are expected to start next year.
“As I have heard, the project on Khushig Valley’s New Ulaanbaatar International Airport (NUBIA) Project steering committee has inked a document of cooperation with “Ulaanbaatar Railway” Mongolia-Russia joint venture on building rail system connecting the new airport with the city. S.Korean companies are interested in cooperating on that development”, said Mr Oh Song.
The Mayor noted that the “Aero-Express” project can be of more efficiency, if there would be a S.Korea’s presence along with Mongolian and Russian.
