Consulate of Mongolia in Chicago officially opens www.montsame.mn
A Consulate of Mongolia in Chicago, U.S. has begun its service from today, March 9. There are more than 30 thousand Mongolian expats in the United States, of whom over 10 thousand Mongolian nationals reside in Chicago.
With aims to provide Mongolians with prompt and efficient public services, last July the State Great Khural of Mongolia passed a resolution to open a Consulate of Mongolia in Chicago. On January 6, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar presented a Consular Patent to Mongolia’s Consul to Chicago T. Battsetseg.
The consular district of the Consulate of Mongolia in Chicago covers the following states - North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
