Minister of Health of Mongolia Chinburen Jigjidsuren received Country Director for Mongolia at the Asian Development Bank Shannon Cowlin on June 23, 2025.
At the meeting, Minister of Health Chinburen Jigjidsuren highlighted the Asian Development Bank as a significant development partner, which has cooperated with the Mongolian Government in the health sector on a wide scope, ranging from the improvement of the first aid service framework to strengthening hospital services, financial management, and human resources.
Meanwhile, Ms. Shannon Cowlin introduced planned investment projects in the health sector as well as a number of new early-stage technical support programs and projects to Minister Chinburen Jigjidsuren.
Minister Chinburen Jigjidsuren received information and exchanged views on the progress of current investment projects and pressing issues. The Minister proposed to arrange another meeting to discuss further actions and possible solutions, after reviewing detailed information about the ongoing projects from relevant officials.
