Justice Reforms Implemented in Phases www.montsame.mn
On February 2, 2026, Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs Enkhbayar Battumur received the World Justice Project's Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Srirak Plipat.
According to the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, Minister Enkhbayar noted at the outset of the meeting that legal and judicial reforms aimed at combating corruption, strengthening justice, and ensuring citizens’ constitutional rights and freedoms are being implemented in phases. He also said that during the spring session of the State Great Khural, attention will be given to the revised Law on Witness and Victim Protection, the draft Law on Whistleblower Protection, and improvements to regulations that cause inconvenience to citizens. The Minister expressed readiness to work closely with the organization to demonstrate leadership and deliver tangible results in anti-corruption efforts and justice reform.
Srirak Plipat welcomed Mongolia’s leadership and support in reducing corruption, protecting human rights, and strengthening justice, and emphasized that the World Justice Project identifies country-specific challenges and proposes effective solutions based on data and analysis.
The World Justice Project is an international non-governmental organization that, for 20 years, has carried out diverse activities in training, research, and assessment to improve the rule of law worldwide.
