President Khurelsukh Arrives in Bishkek for SCO Summit www.montsame.mn
Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Mongolia, has arrived in Bishkek to participate as an observer in the extended meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States, taking place in the Kyrgyz Republic from August 31 to September 1, 2026.
Upon landing at Manas-2 International Airport, the President was welcomed by U.E. Mamatkanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Chair of the Kyrgyz section of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission; Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic; Tegshjargal Demchig, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic, alongside other officials.
President Khurelsukh will deliver a speech at the extended meeting. Additionally, he will meet with the heads of state of SCO member and dialogue partner countries to exchange views on bilateral relations, cooperation, and issues of mutual interest.
