Mongolia Receives 737,338 Tourists as Arrivals Rise 54.1% www.montsame.mn
Mongolia had received 737,338 tourists as of September 1, 2026, an increase of 258,886, or 54.1 percent, compared with the same period last year.
Tourist arrivals during the same period over the past four years were:

The number of tourists has more than doubled compared with the same period in 2023, according to the Mongolia Tourism Organization.
The number of tourists arriving in Mongolia from Japan has also increased for four consecutive years. As of September 1, arrivals from Japan stood at:

This year’s figure represents an increase of 7,401 tourists, or 30.1 percent, from the same period last year, and a 122.1 percent increase compared with 2023.
