Russia-Mongolia trade turnover expanded www.rusexporter.com
For the first 11 months of 2018, Russia-Mongolia Trade Turnover amounted to $1.4 bn and went up by 18% compared to the same period of 2017.
As for the structure of the bilateral trade, Russia’s export to Mongolia was 36 times as much as its import from Mongolia.
Mineral fuel, oil and its products traditionally became the main commodity exported from Russia to Mongolia (63%). Other important export goods were ferrous metals (5%) and cereals (4%). Mongolia’s export to Russia was constituted mostly by salt, sulfur, lime and plastering materials (64%), meat and its products (17%), and apparel (8%).
