China's Inner Mongolia has 11.1 Mt of coal stocks at main utilities www.sxcoal.com
China's main coal supplying province Inner Mongolia had 11.1 million tonnes of coal in stocks at 77 major power utilities, up 4 million tonnes from a year ago, enough for 17 days' usage, said director with the electricity branch of the region's energy bureau.
Inner Mongolia undertook the task of supplying 45.4 million tonnes of coal in April and supplying 29.5 million tonnes of coal in July to other provinces.
About 800 million tonnes of coal were dispatched during first eight months in the region, with daily figure at 3.3 million tonnes, rising 21% from a year ago.
Inner Mongolia's power transmission to other areas totaled 146.7 TWh over January-August, rising 9.8% from a year ago.
Inner Mongolia has also became the first province that generated over 100 TWh of power from new energy in China, with total production reaching 65.5 TWh during the first half of this year, up 21.2% on the year.
