Mongolia has welcomed over 15 million newly born animals this spring. This May, it was announced that there has been a 95 percent survival following a very harsh winter and very windy spring.
This year, over 29 million female livestock are expected to deliver young animals; 57.9 percent have already given birth.
Today it was announced that 49.4 thousand camels, 281,200 horses, 611,600 thousand cows, 567,000 sheep and 951,000 goats have been born.
Large animals are expected to finish giving birth this week, whilst smaller animals will continue bearing their offspring until the second week of June.
